Name: Meursault 1er Cru Les Bouchere
Variety: Chardonnay
Region: Meursault
Country: France
Year: 2011
Price: $185.00

Winery Review: Aromatic, floral with spicy and herbaceous notes on the bouquet. The palate displays minerality with flavors of fresh lime and lemon zest. The texture is creamy, with a long finish.

My review: This a corked yellow green glass bottle. It has a clear yellow color when poured in a glass. The bouquet of this wine is citrus and tropical fruit. The body of the wine is smooth. The taste is a little tardy, mild and spicy after taste. The spiciness, maybe because it was served warm inside of cold. If this drink is served cold, then the color and texture would differ. The citric favor of this wine would make a great combination to foods like lobster and lemon seasoned salmon.
