Name: Rothschild Rouge 2013
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot / Blend
Region: Bordeaux
Country: France
Year: 2014
Price: $15.99

Winery Review: Purple color with good intensity. On the nose, expressive and very aromatic with dark berries such as red currants, blueberries, and black currants. On the palate, medium bodied with pure, intense notes of fruit and a lovely freshness on the finish.
Blend: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
My review: This is a french wine composed of a variety of french grapes. This wine is enclosed in dark glass bottle and corked. The color of this wine is a dark violet, really dark hard to see thoroughly. Having tasting a merlot before I can expect a dark red bitter wine. The aromas of this wine is plumy and smells a little like coffee grinds. It is smooth at first, then dry and tart. A half of glass can be okay. A great wine to be combined with a nice baked chicken with old bay seasoning and baked potatoes.
