Name: Chateau Le Clos de Merle
Variety: Bordeaux Blend
Region: Bordeaux
Country: France
Year: 2010
Price: $10.99

Winery Review: Aromas of spice. The palate has notes of plum, licorice, and is slightly toasted. A clean finish and a good length in mouth characterize this wine.

My review: The color of this wine is a ruby red. The smell is fruity and oaky. The taste is soft, tangy, and fruity. There is a mixture of some kind of wood or bark in this wine. Great with meat and cheeses. It gives you a dry aftertaste so you it should be paired with a hardy protein.
