Name: Domaine Bousquet Reserve Malbec
Variety: Malbec
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Year: 2013
Price: $13.99

Winery Review: Spice and smoky oak aromas blend with perfumed berry scents and candy in front of an astringent palate with plum, cherry and smoky aftertones. Dark, minty flavors on the finish are matched by hard, rubbery tannins. Time in bottle could be a benefit. 85 Points Wine Enthusiast. 85% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5 %  Merlot, 5% Syrah.

My review: I was told  that this was made from organic grapes. It was a typical dark violet color and semi red wine, something that Argentina usually produces the way they like their wine.  This wine had a variety of different grapes. The aromas were blackberry and plum. On my palate it was tanny  and a small taste of dark chocolate. Well balanced with the cheese they paired it with. It is paired best and balanced  with pasta, red meat, and cheese. The cheese that it was  paired with was Kerrygold, Skellig a sweet cheddar.
