Name: D’Anice Graves Blanc, 2012
Variety: Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Bordeaux
Country:  France
Year: 2012
Price: $14.99

Winery Review: Made from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes in Bordeaux's famous Graves region. It has a ripe grass and citrus nose that leads into a palate dominated by Sauvignon Blanc flavors of citrus, grass, grapefruit and minerals, finishing with crisp savory minerality. Perfect with spring salads.

My review: The container is a green glass bottle and corked. This wine was served cold. When poured on a glass cup it is pure golden color. This wine's aromas are citric but it is not strong. The taste of this wine is a nice crisp light white wine with a dry aftertaste of minerals. It has the right balance of fruit and citrus. This wine would go perfect with a salad, seafood, and some lemon oysters.
