Tasting - Roscato Rosso Dolce

Name: Roscato Rosso Dolce
Variety: 7.0% abv
Region:  Northern Italian Region of Lombardy, Italy
Country: Italy
Year: 2013
Price: $15
Winery Review:  Roscato is an irresistible, delicately sweet, gently fizzy red wine from the northern Italian region of Lombardy. Made from three native grape varieties grown in this beautiful region for centuries – Croatina, Teroldego and Lagrein – Roscato makes a wonderful aperitif and is also incredibly food-friendly.
Roscato seamlessly combines a long-held grape growing tradition with the flair of modern winemaking techniques and style. The result is a wine of enticing character that perfectly meets the surging demand for sweet red blends.
My review:  It is a nice dark glass bottle of 750 mL that contains 7% of alcohol per volume. The price varies in different locations, I was able to obtain this bottle at $9.00 because they were having a sale . It has a sweet fruity smell like it is advertised. It is delicious, it is  a mixture of berries and grapes. It is light and smooth to drink, I would recommend this to first time drinkers because it is not strong. It was good mix to my dinner after we had a BBQ.
