Winery Review: The long, warm days of the Napa Valley create concentrated fruit with good balance. The cool nights preserve balance, acidity and the aromatic qualities. Vibrant aromas of grapefruit, green fig, lemongrass and papaya. Crisp flavors of grapefruit, papaya and green fig. Clean acidity and a lingering finish.
Shellfish, seafood, and spicy Thai foods will make for a wonderful pairing! This wine will be a welcomed addition to any dinner table! http://www.wine.com/v6/Rutherford-Ranch-Sauvignon-Blanc-2013/wine/130620/Detail.aspx
My review: A very nice clear bottle and screw cap bottle. The wine itself is white and clear. The smell, was semi-citric and grapy. The texture is nice and smooth when you swirled the cup. The taste was smooth, soft and refreshing. It is a nice balance of sweetness, it is not too sweet or too tart. The aftertaste is citric but enjoyable to drink especially in a nice warm day. Preferred cold, but enjoyable with lemon seasoned fish. I would enjoy this drink again. The Nappa Valley wine is a great and refreshing wine.
